Exciting news for all mobile game lovers! A new Harvest Moon game is set to arrive on iOS and Android devices.
Hiro Makaewa, the President and CEO of Natsume Inc, recently announced that the new game will be titled Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home. This game will bring players back to the beloved classic farming simulator experience.
In this new game, you'll find the familiar "traditional Harvest Moon style," with beloved characters and relaxing farming adventures.
The story follows your character returning to their hometown after living in the city for 10 years. Your childhood friend persuades you to help revitalize the town of Alba, although not all residents are happy with the changes.
Together with your childhood friend and other visitors, your goal is to breathe new life into the town and make friends with those who oppose the changes.
Further details about the gameplay are still under wraps, but the game is scheduled to be released in August 2024.
As a reminder, the first Harvest Moon game was released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in Japan in 1996. The main goal was to manage a farm, care for livestock, and interact with the town's residents. In some games, you could even marry other characters.
Other titles in the Story of Seasons series include Harvest Moon GB, Harvest Moon 64, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, and Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, available on various consoles such as Game Boy, PlayStation, GameCube, Nintendo Wii, PC, and Xbox.
So, get ready to embark on a new farming adventure in Harvest Moon: Home Sweet Home!
